Rebirth is Slime RNG's prestige reset. You spend accumulated Goop, your coin balance and zone
unlocks reset to zero, and in exchange you gain a permanent luck multiplier that applies to
every future Slime RNG roll for the rest of your save. This page covers the Goop threshold
for each Slime RNG rebirth tier, what persists and what resets, the optimal timing for your
first rebirth, and a long-term Slime RNG rebirth strategy.
Background
What is rebirth in Slime RNG?
Rebirth in Slime RNG is the late-game progression loop. Every Slime RNG run starts you in
zone 1 (The Meadow) with zero coins, and you grind your way up through the zones rolling
slimes and unlocking the next area. After you've unlocked Goop drops from the
Slime RNG skill tree, defeated enemies start dropping Goop. Once your
Goop pile clears that rebirth's threshold, you can rebirth.
The rebirth itself is a hard reset of your zone progression and coin balance — you go
back to zone 1 with zero coins, exactly like a fresh save. But unlike a fresh save, you
keep every slime you've ever rolled or crafted, every skill-tree upgrade you've bought,
and you gain a permanent luck multiplier that compounds with every subsequent Slime RNG
rebirth. It's a "two steps back, three steps forward" prestige loop.
Step 1 — Goop
Your first rebirth needs Goop
Rebirth itself has no upgrade prerequisites — you just need enough Goop. But Goop is
gated. Until you spend 10M coins on the Goop node in the Slime RNG skill tree, no enemy
will ever drop Goop, no matter how high your luck stat. The full unlock chain is Backpack
→ Auto Roll → 2 Enemies → 3 Enemies → Goop. See the
how to get Goop in Slime RNG guide for the full skill-tree path,
the six named Goop drop-rate upgrades, and farming strategy.
→ Most Slime RNG guides agree: don't try to rush your first rebirth. Reach Heaven (zone 7)
and buy the Crafting Machine for 1M coins first — your coin
income at lower zones makes the 10M Goop unlock painfully slow.
Step 2 — Thresholds
Goop required per Slime RNG rebirth tier
Each rebirth tier costs roughly 2× the previous tier in Goop, and grants ≈1.82×
on top of your previous luck multiplier. This pattern is confirmed by in-game
footage from 2026-05-09: the rebirth dialog showed a player going from rebirth #16 → #17,
spending 32.7M Goop and seeing their permanent multiplier change from 14.49Kx → 26.37Kx
(= 1.82× exactly).

Tier 16 / 17 values confirmed by in-game rebirth dialog footage 2026-05-09. Lower tiers
extrapolate the 2× / 1.82× pattern from Beebom's published table, which the in-game
sample matches exactly.
→ No rebirth cap exists. The exponential cost (2× per tier) creates a practical ceiling
but no hard limit.
The standard advice across Slime RNG guides: rebirth as soon as it's comfortable,
not as soon as it's possible. The earliest you could rebirth is the moment
your Goop pile hits 500 — but if grinding Tier 1's 500 Goop took you 3 hours, you'll just
repeat that 3 hours starting from zone 1 with no coins.
The two timing heuristics that come up across published Slime RNG guides:
You can comfortably re-grind 10M coins per cycle. If you can rebuild your
economy quickly, the +luck from rebirth pays itself back in fewer rolls.
Right before a Luck Boost code window. Your fresh rebirth multiplier
stacks with code-redeemed potions, so timing your Slime RNG rebirth with active
Luck Boost potion codes compounds the gain on early rolls.
→ If you have any crafting recipe scrolls you haven't picked up yet,
grab them before rebirthing. Zone unlocks reset (so you'll need to re-buy each
zone), but the recipes themselves persist once collected.
FAQ
Slime RNG Rebirth FAQ
Is there a maximum rebirth in Slime RNG?
No. Both published Slime RNG rebirth guides confirm rebirth is uncapped — you can rebirth
as many times as you can farm Goop for. Exponential Goop costs do create a practical
ceiling, but there's no hard cap.
Does the luck multiplier stack with rebirths?
Yes — the multiplier from each Slime RNG rebirth is permanent and compounds with every
subsequent rebirth at ≈1.82× per tier. In-game footage shows rebirth #16 = 14.49Kx,
rebirth #17 = 26.37Kx. By tier 20+ the multiplier is in the hundreds of thousands.
Do I lose my slimes when I rebirth?
No. Your full Slime RNG slime collection — every rarity, including crafted slimes from
recipe scrolls — persists across every rebirth. You only lose coins and zone unlocks.
Should I rebirth before unlocking the Crafting Machine?
No. Reach Heaven (zone 7), buy the Crafting Machine for 1M coins, and ideally collect
a few recipe scrolls before your first Slime RNG rebirth. The
machine purchase persists across rebirths but you'll want it before zone unlocks reset.
What happens if I have extra Goop above the threshold?
Surplus Goop carries over. Each Slime RNG rebirth consumes only the threshold amount,
so over-farming is never wasted — the leftover stockpile counts toward the next rebirth.

Prerequisite
You need Goop first
Rebirth is gated behind Goop, and Goop is gated behind a 10M skill-tree node. The Goop guide walks you through the unlock path and the six named drop-rate upgrades.
