Slime RNG beginner guide

How the game's core loop works — claim free luck, roll for slimes, fight through zones, collect recipe scrolls, rebirth for permanent luck. Mechanics here are confirmed across slime-rng.wiki and Game8. Specific numbers (coin thresholds, exact multipliers) aren't published by Stouts Studio so we leave those out rather than estimate.

Phase 1 — Free permanent luck

Claim the two free Luck sources before you roll

Two free actions on the Roblox game page grant a small permanent Luck bonus that applies to every roll for the rest of your save.

  1. Like the Roblox game page
  2. Join the Stouts Studio Roblox group
→ Combined effect: +1 Luck total. Community reports indicate the two actions grant +1 Luck combined, not +1 each — claim both regardless, since it's free.
Phase 2 — Rolling

Spend coins to roll, then automate it

Rolling is how you get new slimes. Each roll costs coins and returns a slime of a random rarity tier — higher Luck shifts you toward better tiers.

  1. Buy Auto Roll as soon as you can afford it (roughly 200 coins per slime-rng.wiki). Auto Roll runs the roller in the background while your slimes fight, so you accumulate slimes without sitting on the button.
  2. Total rolls become a currency for further upgrades like roll speed (per Game8 progression guide).
→ What we don't have a verified number for: cost per individual roll, exact roll-speed upgrade prices, the rarity-tier base odds (Common / Uncommon / … / Huge). No source publishes these yet.
Phase 3 — Combat

Equipped slimes auto-fight zone enemies

Per slime-rng.wiki, your equipped slimes attack enemies in the current zone automatically — you don't manually click. Killed enemies drop coins. Coins fund both rolls and the next zone unlock. Single-source claim (Game8 doesn't describe combat in detail), but matches the genre's standard pattern.

→ What we don't have: how many slimes you can equip at once, whether DPS aggregates linearly, whether different rarities scale differently in combat vs. rolls.
Phase 4 — Crafting

Hidden scrolls + Crafting Machine in Heaven

Eight crafting recipe scrolls are hidden across the recipe zones (Cave through Graveyard). You can pick the scrolls up before buying the Crafting Machine, but they only become usable after the Machine is purchased.

  1. Reach Heaven (Zone 7) and buy the Crafting Machine for 1M coins.
  2. Open /crafting for each scroll's exact in-zone location and the 3 ingredient slimes it requires.
  3. Each crafted slime has dramatically higher HP/DPS than its ingredients.
→ Cross-confirmed by Beebom, games.gg and Game8. Stats and ingredients on /crafting are 3-source verified.
Phase 5 — Rebirth

Reset progression, keep slimes, gain a permanent luck multiplier

Rebirth is a metaprogression reset. Both slime-rng.wiki and Game8 confirm the same shape:

✓ Persists across rebirth

  • All rolled slimes
  • All crafted slimes
  • Upgrades you've purchased
  • Consumables / fruits
  • A permanent luck multiplier that accumulates each rebirth

✗ Resets

  • Coin balance
  • Zone progression (you re-unlock zones each run)
→ Rebirth is gated behind unlocking the Goop (Game8 also writes it as "goob") currency and farming enough of it. Specific Goop threshold and the exact luck multiplier per rebirth aren't published.
Phase 6 — Coin economy & boosts

How coins actually scale (and where to spend skill points)

Combat coin yield is the bottleneck for almost every other progression system — you need coins to roll, unlock zones, buy the Crafting Machine, and sink 10M into the Goop node. From in-game footage on 2026-05-09, here is the full set of levers that multiply your per-kill coin income.

  1. Coin Income skill tree — 13 sequential levels (Coin Income I → XIII). Tier I gives +25% coins; the top tier delivers +600% coins. Buy each tier in order.
  2. Overkill bonus — passive bonus for one-shotting enemies whose HP is well below your slime's damage. Starts at +3% per overkill, climbs to +33%, eventually maxes at +233% with full upgrades. Higher zones with under-spec enemies = best overkill farming.
  3. Currency Boost potion×2 coins for the duration. Code-redeemed, stack with active farming sessions. Save them for rebirth-prep windows.
  4. Offline Loot — 5 sequential levels (Offline Loot I → V). Each tier increases AFK earnings while you're not playing. Critical for overnight farming.
  5. Enemy Limit — controls how many enemies spawn at once. Maxes at 7 enemies. More enemies on screen = more coins per minute.
  6. Slime Slots — controls how many of your slimes are equipped attacking at once. Maxes at 7 slots. Always pair with Equip Best button.
  7. Target Range I → III — your slimes' attack reach. Higher range = hitting spawns farther away = more kills per second.
  8. Enemy Rush I → III — increases enemy spawn rate.
  9. Variant slime upgrades — separate skill-tree nodes (Inverted Slimes / Shiny Slimes / Huge Slimes / Big Slimes) that boost the coin and luck yield from killing those specific variants. Only worth investing once you regularly encounter them.
→ Group / multiplayer chance: when you're in a group, base coin drop is 100%, and the "group chance" upgrade caps at 85% — meaning 85% of kills also count for your party members. Group play is a parallel scaler, not a multiplier on top of solo.
You don't need coins to rebirth. Rebirth only consumes Goop. Spend every coin you have on upgrades right before pressing the rebirth button — the balance resets to zero anyway.
Still TBA

What no source has documented yet

  • Cost per individual roll, roll-speed upgrade prices
  • Base drop-odds for the rarity tiers (Common / Uncommon / Rare / Epic / Legendary / Mythic)
  • Super Luck and Ultra Luck upgrade values
  • Luck Boost / Ultra Luck Boost potion multipliers and durations
  • Goop unlock threshold and per-rebirth multiplier formula
  • Zone unlock costs / enemy HP / coin yield for Zone 6+ (only Zone 1-5 are documented in slime-rng.wiki)
  • Per-slime stats for non-recipe slimes (Basic Slime, Spike, Fire Slime, Huge Lucky etc.)
